jsPerf.app is an online JavaScript performance benchmark test runner & jsperf.com mirror. It is a complete rewrite in homage to the once excellent jsperf.com now with hopefully a more modern & maintainable codebase.
jsperf.com URLs are mirrored at the same path, e.g:
https://jsperf.com/negative-modulo/2
Can be accessed at:
https://jsperf.app/negative-modulo/2
In FF3.6/Win, the execution part (the function calls) have nearly identical running times, so I included the function declarations themselves in the test cases.
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://base2.googlecode.com/svn/version/1.0.2/src/base2.js"></script>
<script>
extend = function(first, second){
for (var prop in second){
first[prop] = second[prop];
}
};
</script>Ready to run.
| Test | Ops/sec | |
|---|---|---|
| function foo() | | ready |
| var bar = function() | | ready |
| $.extend | | ready |
| Object.prototype | | ready |
| plain code | | ready |
| custom extend | | ready |
| Base2.extend | | ready |
